Hi all

Sorry for the delay on this hot site, we have made a few changes since we last logged on. Some of you may not be too surprised to hear that we are not in fact now in New Zealand, but the day after we were supposed to catch our flight, we took an alternative airline back to Singapore where we picked up a new social Visa for Indonesia that will allow us to stay here for another couple of months and then extend for another two...

Yes, diving is the cause, the undersea world has drawn our attention away from our itinerary and into the deep blue. All fun, the sharks are zipping around, dog tooth tuna are huge (not to mention very tasty) sting rays with a six foot wing span swoop majesticaly around one dropping sand off their backs as they go. Turtles sit and eat and ignore these strange bubble blowing things that come to hover around them. We can finally tell the difference between a moorish idol and a banner fish (go on look them up) both very pretty. The lion fish are spooky and the scorpion fish could be the ugliest thing in the water if you didn't come accross a frog fish - no not my darling (she's the pretties thing in the water) but an actual fish.

All in all life is pretty wonderful, we are back on the island doing our divemaster course, so the only question now is who is going to come and visit us as we will be in one place for a couple of months! We can offer great discounts if you want to learn to dive...

It was all very hard with a nasty and scary instructor like Bruno!

Love to you all, Rob & Virginie

Hey guys!
Yeah, I'm sure it's very fun to see all these wonderful ocean creatures, but I can assure you that it's not fun AT ALL when surfing!!!! a shadow underneath might be just sea weed or....a tiger shark..even a white whark. Those things go from Mexico to Oregon, and stop here and there to have a little snack.
Can't join you there guys, I wish I would..but I'm sure that the marine population of the mediterranean sea is as interesting.Soooo...I'm waiting for my lessons back in France.
